GeoknoLiDAR

Geokno offers project planning, flight planning, data capture, QA/QC, data calibration, ortho-photo generation, classification, DEM generation, and finally 3D model generation from airborne LiDAR data. Airborne LiDAR has tremendous potential to capture accurate and dense topographic data at a high speed. These data are transferred to local msl and the desired horizontal reference for further use.

Geokno has expertise in all aspects of airborne LiDAR survey and is connected with the world leaders in this area for facilitating data collection in India. Geokno has extensive research experience in the use of LiDAR data for physical process modelling (Sound, Flood propagation), immersive terrain visualisation, automatic information extraction, quality control issue etc. Airborne LiDAR data can be used for varied applications including the following:

  1. Large area topographic survey (CI=50cm) and scale 1:1000
  2. Data generation for flood modelling, especially in urban flood management
  3. 3D city modelling
  4. Power Transmission Line survey
Geokno offers data processing services to clients internationally and within India.
