Dr. Bharat Lohani, Co-Founder, CMD

B.E., M.E., PhD (Reading-UK)

Dr. Lohani has 15+ years experience in Geospatial domain. He specializes in the area of GIS, Remote Sensing, land surveying, and especially laser scanning from terrestrial, mobile and airborne platforms. He has completed and coordinated several innovative research and development projects in these areas and conducted many short term courses. Is a member of several professional bodies including the fellow of Institution of Surveyors, India and Co-Chair at ISPRS WGV/2. He has published his work in technical and research journals and is also on the reviewer/editorial boards of several journals. Dr. Lohani is well connected with the national and international Geoinformatics industry leaders and government organisation in India.

Mr. Balaji Nagarajan, Co-Founder, CEO

M.Sc., M.Tech. (Anna University)

Balaji Nagarajan co-founded Geokno in 2009 and serves as Director and Chief Executive Officer. Balaji oversees all the divisions of Geokno and strategically guides the company. He has over-all responsibility for the timely completion of projects, delivery of products and services of Geokno. This includes responsibility for people, services and external and internal operations. Balaji has more than two years of experience in the technology sector with significant expertise in a wide range of geospatial domain including GIS, Remote Sensing, Image Processing as well as Lidar. Prior to founding Geokno, he severed as a Sr. Research Associate in Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. Balaji earned his postgraduate degrees in Remote Sensing from Anna University. He has completed his M.Tech research project from IITKanpur where he developed a web-based Spatial Information system for IITKanpur. He holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Physics from Madurai Kamaraj University.

Mr. Prateek Srivastava, Assistant Manager - Business Development

Mr. Prateek Srivastava holds a B.E. degree in Information Technology and a M.E. degree in Remote Sensing and GIS from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok. He has worked as a project trainee with ISRO, India after his bachelors degree. He has professional experience as a GIS Specialist as well. He possesses strong understanding/experience of applications, system design, and development lifecycle relating to GIS and IT. His responsibilities include identifying opportunities and provide technical writing to support project proposal efforts, increasing brand awareness and secure new project opportunities. He conducts client presentations and develops new and existing client relationships. He also delivers his technical expertise to existing and future projects.

Mr. Palanisamy, Assistant Project Manager - LiDAR

M.Sc., M.Tech. (Anna University)

Mr. Palanisamy specializes on converting LiDAR point cloud on useful 2D or 3D CAD models. He has proficiency in working with AutoCAD, Microstation, Rapidform, Polyworks etc. He has done his MSc in Physics and MTech in Remote Sensing from Anna University. He has worked as a GIS Engineer in Rolta India Ltd. and possesses strong professional experience. An avid adventure lover, he has been an important part of many surveying projects in extreme conditions. Reliability, sincerity and flexibility is what makes him a true team player.

Mr. Vishal Yadav, Software Engineer - LiDAR

B.Tech. (UIET Kanpur)

Mr. Vishal Yadav holds B.Tech degree in Information Technology from University Institute of Engineering and Technolgy Kanpur. He specilizes in Airborne LiDAR data processing and developing 3D CAD model. He uses terraSolid (terraScan, terraMatch and terraPhoto) apllication software with Microstation to process LiDAR data. Apart form LiDAR Data Processing, He has also worked in software and web application development. He has developed his company website that is geokno.com. He has made a prototype for Nainital Municipal Corporation based on GIS. He has good command in Java, .Net, PHP, HTML, Database etc.

Mr. Vaibhav Katiyar, Software Engineer - LiDAR

B.Tech. (UIET Kanpur)

Mr. Vaibhav Katiyar is working as software engineer in geokno after completing his B.Tech degree in Informatoin Technology from university institute of engineering and technology. He has good knowledge of LiDAR technology and computer languages like java, .Net, C, C++. He is the part of number of projects like DSM Converter, IIT 3D model development, Taxation system for municipality etc. He likes interactive designing that's why he gives help in designing part of software and web.

Mr. Amit Kumar Shukla, Software Engineer - GIS

Mr. Amit Kumar Shukla holds B.Tech degree in Information Technology from University Institute of Engineering and Technology Kanpur. He has extensive knowledge of managing Virtual Private Server and Web Server. He possesses strong understanding of various map servers like MapGuide Server and Geoserver. He has successfully worked in map libraries i.e. MapObjects, MapWindow, Fusion, Openlayers etc. He has experience of working with database like MySQL, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Oracle etc. He has a very good knowledge of programming languages like C,C++,Java, J2EE as well as server side languages like Php, Jsp etc.

Mr. Prashant Kumar Singh is working as Software engineer WebGIS in Geokno. He did his B.tech in Computer Science & Engineering from UPTU and has a very good knowledge in C, C++, core java, J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, Visual Basic, Php, Mysql, Mapguide Server, Mapguide Studio. He has worked on interactive websites , including that of Geokno.

Mr. Aditya Roshan

Mr. Aditya Roshan is a mathematical modeller and also specializes in remote sensing, laser scanning, and land surveying. He has expertise in adjustment and computation for survey measurements.
