Geokno is a private limited company promoted by the faculty members and young researchers from Geoinformatics Laboratory, IIT Kanpur in 2009. The company is incubated at IIT Kanpur and draws its strength from the rich research and development traditions of IIT Kanpur. Geokno stands on a solid foundation of geospatial knowledge, extensive experience of its promoters and innovative, intelligent and energetic young members.

Company focuses at innovative and path-breaking solution development using laser scanning from airborne, terrestrial and mobile sensors, and the WebGIS. Geokno endeavours to provide these solutions in a cost-effective and efficient manner thus helping a customer realise the return on investment comfortably.
